Book Tour+Review: Break Point by Rachel Blaufeld

Blurb:

Juliette Smith, star tennis player, is starting over at a new university. Traumatized by hazing at her last school, all she wants is to attend classes, win tennis matches, and be left the hell alone.
She should have known her coach, Drew King, would be a problem from the moment he flexed his sexy-as-hell forearms.
What happens when you mix a pissed-off woman with a bunch of snooty teammates and a hot coach?
A heated match, complete with team politics and a forbidden game of singles with the coach.

It’s reckless and hot until one of them taps out.

Unable to admit she may be better off as a double, Jules is convinced she needs to play the game of life alone. Then life throws her a lob and she runs smack into her past.
Coach King is back, and he wants to take control of the game. But she’s not certain she wants his advice when it comes to the life she’s built.
The power struggle is on, but this time off the court. It’s reckless and hot until one of them taps out.

At 20, Jules Smith has already left school in Cali, is back living at home with her mother and avoids men like one avoids the plague.  A tennis player, her hopes are riding on a sports scholarship at the nearby university, until she meets the young and extremely sexy potential new coach.
Drew King is a man who always gets what he wants and he desperately wants Jules, but being involved with a student, a member of the team he’s coaching, is completely against the rules so he makes what he hopes is the best decision for her at the time.
After seven years, Jules and Drew meet again and he’s not willing to let his second chance slip through his fingers.
This is one of the best second chance romances I’ve ever read.  Though I was thrown off at the beginning at how fast their relationship developed, I was able to relate it to it originally being a novella evolving into a full length book and I slowly, but surely fell in love with the story.  We have two very strong characters desperate to connect with each other, a forbidden loveand the toughest decisions a person has to make.  Being a single mother myself, I could see Jules need to stay in control of her life and I fell in love with Drew, a man who is ready to do anything to reclaim the love that he once pushed out of his life.
I never thought I’d love any other of the author’s characters more than I did Tiberius Jones, but Drew King has definitely taken that spot.

Meet Rachel:

Rachel Blaufeld is a bestselling author of Romantic Suspense, New Adult, Coming-of-Age Romance, and Sports Romance. A recent poll of her readers described her as insightful, generous, articulate, and spunky. Originally a social worker, Rachel creates broken yet redeeming characters. She’s been known to turn up the angst like cranking up the heat in the dead of winter.
A devout coffee drinker and doughnut eater, Rachel spends way too many hours in local coffee shops, downing the aforementioned goodies while she plots her ideas. Her tales may all come with a side of angst and naughtiness, but end as lusciously as her treats.
When she isn’t writing, she can be found courtside, tweeting about hoops as her son plays, or walking around the house wearing earplugs while her other son, the drummer, bangs away.
To connect with Rachel, she’s most active in her private reading group, The Electric Readers, where she shares insider information and intimate conversation with her readers.

Book Tour: Anti-Stepbrother by Tijan

Blurb
He told me to 'settle, girl.'  He asked if 'something was wrong with me?'  He said I was an ‘easy target.’  That was within minutes when I first met Caden Banks.  I labeled him an *sshole, but he was more than that. Arrogant. Smug. Alpha.
He was also to-die-for gorgeous, and my stepbrother’s fraternity brother.
Okay, yes I was a little naive, a tad bit socially awkward, and the smallest amount of stalker-ish, but if Caden Banks thought he could tell me what to do, he had another thing coming.
I came to college with daydreams about being with my stepbrother, but what would happen if I fell for the anti-stepbrother instead?
This is a story about a girl, her stepbrother and another guy who is the stepbrother’s complete opposite.  If it sounds like a cliché, I promise you it’s not.Summer is starting college and she’s going to the same college as Kevin, her stepbrother.  The small detail here? She’s had a crush on Kevin since HS, since before he became her stepbrot…
