New Release+Review: Wrong Question, Right Answer by Elle Casey

Wrong Question, Right Answer

by Elle Casey

As a member of the Bourbon Street Boys private security firm, Antoinette “Toni” Delacourte is one strong woman, but despite her reputation for being tough as nails, she is haunted by her past mistakes. Now they’re catching up to her, and throwing her for a loop.

Ten years ago, Toni kissed Lucky, her brother’s best friend. Worried it would break apart the group she’d come to see as family, she walked away—straight into the arms of Charlie, and an abusive relationship.

For the past decade she’s tried to keep her feelings for Lucky platonic—he’s her friend, her colleague, and he’s got his own past to deal with. Free of Charlie but unable to shake his memory, Toni finds herself feeling vulnerable and unable to deny her attraction to Lucky any longer.

She’s always thought that kiss was her first mistake, but now she’s wondering whether the real mistake was running away.

Every book in this series just keeps getting better! Toni has some serious issues that she is struggling to deal with. She was in an abusive relationship and had to kill her boyfriend in self defense. Toni struggles with this issue and has a hard time letting anyone get too close. We have Lucky who hasn't stopped blaming himself over his sisters unexpected suicide. Out of all the couples in this series I enjoyed their story the most. They both had a lot of issues to work on and needed each other to move on. We did have a lot of back and forth between them. Toni is a very independent woman and didn't appreciate Lucky going all alpha male. In his defense he was doing the right thing but with Toni that approach will not going to work. I'm glad the couple got to work out their issues and grow.  I've been waiting for Lucky's book since Book 1. I had a slight issue with the case. There wasn't too  much mention about the case until the end and I honestly forgot what was going on. Overall, I did enjoy the story and I can't wait for the next book!

Blurb: Finding my best friend and getting the hell out of California is top priority. Especially as the relationship with my rockstar stepbrother becomes more complicated with each passing day...

I’m on the tour bus partying!

The text from my best friend, Ivy, is one of her last. When weeks stretch with no further contact, I travel to L.A. to track down the band known as Rageon and find Ivy.

As the daughter of a groupie mom, and of a rock star father who fatally overdosed, I know the dangers of the world my friend disappeared into.

My ex-stepbrother, Gage, a musician who’s just come off tour invites me to crash at his place.

The last time I saw Gage in person, we were teens. He's everywhere on social media, so I’m prepared for the tattoo-covered rocker who answers my knock. What I’m not expecting to find is the sweet, s…
