New Release+Review: Homeward Bound by Golden Czermak

Title: Homeward Bound
Series: Journeyman #1
Author: Golden Czermak
Genre: Paranormal Romance
 Release Date: June 6, 2016

The entire world is on the brink of finding out that nightmares are real.

An army of demons known as the Noctis is growing in strength. They control all manner of foul beasts and if not stopped soon, cities will burn, lives will end, and hope will be lost.

The only thing standing in the way are the Journeymen; humans and supernatural beings united against the darkness.

There is one known amongst men and the supernatural alike that you don't f**k with; unless it's on his terms.

His name is Gage Crosse and he's the best damn Journeyman around.

These are his adventures.

Author Note: The book is not a standalone; the series is written with one overarching plot; each book is like an episode of a TV miniseries. Seal of Solomon, Journeyman #2, expected October 2016.

First off, I consider myself a Paranormal Queen and I'm very picky when it comes to this genre.  So with that being said I'm happy to report I was blown away with this book. The storyline held my attention, the writing was really good. The author took the time to research and it shows. This book wasn't just thrown together. This is how you do Paranormal!!  The story was very detailed and descriptive and I could "see" myself in the story. What I liked most about this book was that it wasn't a cliche paranormal story and it wasn't cheesy!! This book had action, romance, drama, suspense and comedy with a paranormal twist which I loved. Czermak just "gets it" and this is something you have or you don't! While reading this story we had some twist and turns I didn't see and I found myself gasping. I felt so many emotions will reading and I'm still in shock!

“Life’s direction and the direction of the things churning within it can change in an instant. We win things, we lose things, we learn from those things. Use that gained knowledge and the impact of the lives you have kept safe on this Earth and use it to carry yourself through the day, months, and years ahead.”

I loved this quote because it's so true! In life one minute everything is good and then boom everything can change. It's important not to let things get you down, to keep fighting when you want to give up and to learn from everything that happens and use it to make you a better person.

In closing, Czermak, has completely exceeded my expectations with his debut novel. I now have another series to add to my list and I can't wait for the next book to see what the future will hold for our Journeymen!
