CUPCAKE OVERLOAD Synopsis:

One night I was out with my girls enjoying a much needed ladies night while wondering if one more dirty martini would push me over the edge. The next thing I knew, I was in the club’s bathroom listening to a woman screaming, “No,” and a man’s voice growling, “I know you want it.”

That asshole picked the wrong restroom, in the wrong club, at the wrong time.

Little did I know the asshole was Cade’s VP, and although we saved that woman from his clutches that night, she’d be found floating in a motel pool a month later.

Running a PI firm is a lot harder than taking pictures for one, especially when your professional life spills over into your personal one. I’m going through cupcakes like our new puppy goes through piddle pads, and if I’m not careful there’s bound to be a Cupcake Overload.

  EXCERPT:

“Pee break,” Amy May called, tugging on my arm and pointing to where Bea and Carmen were already walking toward the restroom. We were having a much-needed ladies’ night, and after three dirty martinis, you couldn’t pull me off the dance floor. At the mention of the bathroom, however, I realized I really, really, had to pee. I nodded and let Amy May drag me after our friends. “Hey,” I said, when some sweaty dude twerked his ass in my face, then gave him a playful shove out of the way as I laughed happily. It had been a great night. The craziest part of it all? Cade was home watching my kids. Yup, you heard that right. My sexy, long-haired, semi-dangerous motorcycle man, was sitting at home with my eleven-year-old twins, eating brownies and watching super hero movies, while I was out with my girls having a blast. If you had asked me a year ago if I thought this would be my life, I’d have said hell to the no. In all honestly, I’d never imagined life could be so good, at least not that everything that had gone down with my ex. But here I was, out drinking with my friends, and giddy with the knowledge that when I got home later, tipsy and horny, there was a super hot guy waiting to make my body sing like a symphony. And he was all mine!

Book Tour: Anti-Stepbrother by Tijan

Blurb
He told me to 'settle, girl.'  He asked if 'something was wrong with me?'  He said I was an ‘easy target.’  That was within minutes when I first met Caden Banks.  I labeled him an *sshole, but he was more than that. Arrogant. Smug. Alpha.
He was also to-die-for gorgeous, and my stepbrother’s fraternity brother.
Okay, yes I was a little naive, a tad bit socially awkward, and the smallest amount of stalker-ish, but if Caden Banks thought he could tell me what to do, he had another thing coming.
I came to college with daydreams about being with my stepbrother, but what would happen if I fell for the anti-stepbrother instead?
This is a story about a girl, her stepbrother and another guy who is the stepbrother’s complete opposite.  If it sounds like a cliché, I promise you it’s not.Summer is starting college and she’s going to the same college as Kevin, her stepbrother.  The small detail here? She’s had a crush on Kevin since HS, since before he became her stepbrot…

Review: Strung Out by Lyrica Creed

Title: Strung Out
Author: Lyrica Creed
Genre: Contemporary Romance/Rockband Romance/Stepbrother Romance Series: Yes but ends with a HEA and can be read as a standalone
Blurb: Finding my best friend and getting the hell out of California is top priority. Especially as the relationship with my rockstar stepbrother becomes more complicated with each passing day...

I’m on the tour bus partying!

The text from my best friend, Ivy, is one of her last. When weeks stretch with no further contact, I travel to L.A. to track down the band known as Rageon and find Ivy.

As the daughter of a groupie mom, and of a rock star father who fatally overdosed, I know the dangers of the world my friend disappeared into.

My ex-stepbrother, Gage, a musician who’s just come off tour invites me to crash at his place.

The last time I saw Gage in person, we were teens. He's everywhere on social media, so I’m prepared for the tattoo-covered rocker who answers my knock. What I’m not expecting to find is the sweet, s…

New Release+Review: Mack Daddy by Penelope Ward

From New York Times bestselling author, Penelope Ward, comes a sexy, STANDALONE second-chance romance. They called him Mack Daddy. No, seriously, his name was Mack. Short for Mackenzie. Thus, the nickname. Perfect, right? So was he: perfect. The perfect physical male specimen. At the private school where I taught, Mack Morrison was the only man around in a sea of women. Everyone wanted a piece of the hot single father of the sweet little boy. I was riddled with jealousy, because they didn’t know that—to me—he was much more. They didn’t know about our past. He’d chosen my school for his son on purpose, because Mack and I, we had unfinished business. As my friend Lorelai so eloquently put it: “Unfinished business between two people who are clearly attracted to each other is like an eternal case of blue balls.” And I was suffering in pain from my case. I was still intensely attracted to Mack. I tried to resist him, immersing myself further into a relationship with another man just to pro…
